SPREADING WARMTH TO COMBAT WINTER CHILL
The Interact Club of Mayoor School Noida successfully concluded its Woollen Donation Drive, a heartwarming initiative aimed at supporting those in need during the winter months. From 1 - 14 December 2024, the school community, including parents, students, and staff, generously donated new or gently used woollen items such as sweaters, blankets, shawls, gloves, and scarves.
In collaboration with Hope and Care NGO, the collected items were distributed to individuals and families in need at the Niharika Community Centre, Sector 31, Noida. This act of kindness ensured that vulnerable members of the community could stay warm and comfortable during the cold winter months.
Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi commended the students and staff for their generosity and contributed to the cause by donating an exercise cycle to the NGO. She emphasised that the success of this initiative demonstrates the kindness and compassion of the participants. It also provides learning opportunity to students about the importance of empathy and social responsibility.
