Students Shine at Political Enactment Event
The Social Science department of Mayoor School, Noida hosted an exhilarating Inter-House Competition , "Act Politically - Speak Out," on 18 July 2024. The Declamation Contest, open to students of classes XI and XII, was a platform for young minds to delve into the world of politics.
Students were tasked with embodying renowned political figures, replicating their distinctive styles and ideologies. Each participant brought a unique perspective to the stage, creating an atmosphere of intellectual engagement and entertainment.
Varun House emerged victorious, followed by Vasudha House in second place and Krishanu House in third. Vice Principal Ms. Sunita Dahiya lauded the contest, emphasising its role in boosting students' confidence and political knowledge. Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi echoed these sentiments, highlighting the competition's importance in honing oratory skills and expanding intellectual horizons.
The "Act Politically - Speak Out" was a resounding success, inspiring students to become informed and articulate citizens.
