The eagerly anticipated inter-house Social Science Quiz, "Jigyasa 2.0 - The Quest for Knowledge," for Classes IX and XI successfully concluded, focusing on the crucial theme of Zero Hunger (Sustainable Development Goal 2).
The event aimed to deepen students' understanding of the socio-economic, geographical, and political dimensions of food security and sustainable agriculture. Five houses participated, showcasing spirited competition and comprehensive preparation.
The quiz was designed with diverse rounds to test both quick recall and in-depth analytical thinking, blending conventional social science topics with the global context of the Zero Hunger goal.
The competition was fierce, with the lead changing hands multiple times, demonstrating impressive knowledge and preparation. The quiz successfully reinforced the interdisciplinary nature of Social Science and promoted critical engagement with a vital global issue.
Principal Ms. Alka Awasthi highly appreciated the competition, believing that quizzes are dynamic tools that support academic growth while simultaneously shaping well-rounded, socially capable individuals.
